I'm so sorry to hear that you have to go back, but you need to do whatever is necessary to get better! I know you don't want to be there, but everything is going to be OK. They need to get it cleaned out again, whatever it takes, to get you back on the right track. You are doing everything you can to help yourself heal, it's the doctor's turn now.
Here's a warm hug to send you on your way.....
Please let us know soon how you're doing!

You may not get this before you go back to the hospital but I had a thought.  I had a real problem with an infection after my hysterectomy years ago.  It was also discovered that I was Type to diabetic.  If you blood sugars are high then healing is more difficult.  After they realized I had a nasty infection ( I kept telling that I did not feel well at all) then antibiotics were started again-IV-and two types.  I was still quite a while before everything cleared up.  Good luck.  I know that this infection can be very nasty.

Sonie, my thoughts and prayers are with you.  For what it's worth, years ago when I had really ingrained infection in my bladder and kidneys, it took a LONG time on antibiotics to get it to stay away.  Oral didn't do the trick.  Flagyl, Levaquin, Amakacin, Keflex, Cipro and the like - really broad spectrum antibiotics.  They kill everything, including the fuzz that grows on your teeth during the night.  If you eat yogurt with live cultures it'll help with the yeast problem.

I'm so sorry you are going through this.  I know how frustrating it can be.  Be sure and keep your sense of humor up as best you can to fight the depression part.  I know when I'm at my worst, I'll go through my laundry list with my husband of what is hurting, what's swollen, etc., etc., etc., and he gets me with this every time - he'll say "yeah, but do your teeth itch?"  They never have - yet!!!  So I'll ask you Sonie, yeah, but do yoru teeth itch???  Take care and check in.  Love, hugs and God bless, Barb

Oh no, well I am sure that it will be taken care of.  Perhaps you should be checked for diabetes?  I am saying an extra prayer for you.  Luv ya, sis.

Oh you poor thing you have just  been through hell.  I can hear the frustration in your email and don't blame you one bit.  I am praying that the get control of the little buggers that are causing the problems and get it soon so you can have some peace.  Hang in there and know that we are all thinking of you.

The girls are right, you should get checked for diabetes...I know 3 diabetics personally...Diabetics with wounds can get gangrenous real quick. I hope you get better soon!
