ovarian cancer
I had 4 C-sections, hysterectomy removed from an abortion. 35yrs. of adhesions. Now I have to have a tumor removed the size of a grapefruit, could also be ovarian cancer. My concern is that the DR. wants to do a laparoscopic surgery. Is this a safe procedure?

Hi,
With history of multiple surgeries and also adhesions, a laparoscopic surgery may not be a good idea, because the adhesions can complicate the surgery. Of course this can be done by experienced surgeons. The recovery after laparoscopic surgery is faster. Discuss this with your Doctor.
Hope this helps.
