ovarian cysts and painful periods HELP!!!!!!!!

i was told after i had a trans vaginal ultrasound that i had some cysts on my ovaries. i have always had horrible cramps when i get my period. they last for about 12 hours and have me bed ridden.they feel like pinching pain and i get nausea real bad. i was wondering if it is realated to the cysts.and also the doc told me i had cysts and never followed up on them. should i be worried?

I have read with interest the postings on this site and would like to ask a question.  I too, have had an ultra sound and was told that I have a 3.2cm tumor on my right ovary.  I had not had a cycle in 2 months, then had a very thick discharge, then heavy flow for 4 days.  I have had pain for 2.5 months now with naseau and back pain.  All tests have been normal.  I have a Lap scheduled in 3 weeks, I'm nervous that it is going to take that long to wait and see what's up.  What suggestions do you have?  I wish you well....
