I was able to phone my gyn this morning and explain what was happening. I didn't speak to her just the office worker, she spoke to the doc. The first comment that the doc. made was that she had already contacted a urolagest for me, she also said that I should not be in pain with this condiction, I asked the office worker to speak with the doc. again and ask if I could be seen by urologe quickly. The office called back this afternoon to tell me that I could not and that the gyn would is me the first of Nov. for my 6 wk check up. I'm ready to pull my hair out. Tomorrow I will call my gp and see if he can help. thank you again and I'll keep in touch yours from nova scotia canada
I had both bladder and bowel repair done about 6 years after my hysterectomy. I have since developed slight ones again. But there are different levels and types of incontinance(stress as in leaking when coughing and urge as in sudden need to go to toilet)it seems that neither of these fits your symptoms so again i would say see gp asap. There are urodynamic study clinics specially for bladder problems but you need to get referred by gyny.Good luck

I would view this as a post operative complication and contact my doctor asap.
The surgery was complicated by the prolapse, which means that the womb was no longer being supported by the ligaments attached to it had dropped down. This can add to bladder incontinence. Obviously the removal of the womb has not solved the matter and has seemed to worsened it. You should ask for pelvic examination by way of a transvaginal ultrasound. You should not be suffering in such a distressing way. The incontinence can be corrected. I hope you get this sorted out soon. Good luck.
Thank you both for your comments when I was operated on the uterus was porlasped does that mean anything to anyone. My gyn said she had a hard time to get it out.
You could have a cystocele which is where the bladder prolapeses into the vagina and can cause incontinence. You need to contact your doctor and let them know your symptoms. It might not be anything, but it needs to be addressed. Good luck. Mery
have you been back to gp?. I am not that clever in this area but i have had hystectomy and never had this problem. I also have bladder problems and it sounds like either nerve damage(from op)or perhaps everything is just moving into space where womb was. I would see either gp or consultant asap. Dont grin and bear it,it's not very pleasant for you.
