After a total hysterectomy can an ovary re-grow. I have a pelvic mass but have not had CT scan yet but from the ultrasound something is growing near my bladder. Its elongated how could this happen. Did my doctor leave a piece of my ovary when he did the surgery?

Never say never. It's been known to happen. It Ovarian Remnant Syndrome. They say its rare yet I've seen alot of women have it on this forum.

After my surgery I had both hernia's and scar tissue.  It can be either one.  I don't think an ovary can re-grow.
