pelvic pain remains after oopherectomy

I have had a recent surgery to have my left ovary removed this was 10 days ago. The procedure was performed because of severe pain on the left side radiating into my back. I am still having pain that is a constant stabbing pain on the left side. Bowel movements are from constipation to diarrhea accompanined with pain when having one. The pain sometimes immobilizes the way I walk. Pain meds do little to relieve. Has anyone experienced the same symptoms. I have been dealing with the pain for a year and a half now and this is the 3rd surgery within that time. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
