persistent cough

my mom was diagnosed with stage 2c ovca in november and finished chemo in february. just had second CT scan - everything clear :)  and her ca-125 was 5 but this past week she has had a persistent cough that lasts for 5 minutes and then goes away for a few hours and then comes back---what could it be?  we can't figure it out- she has a call in to her doc- any ideas what it could be?

Has she started any new blood pressure medications?  There is a group that can cause a cough.  Hope it is nothing.  good luck

Rmarie is right... if your Mum is on some blood pressure drugs, this could be causing the coughing. A friend of mine had that awful cough, after having the blood pressure drug changed... but when the Doc. changed it yet to another, all was fine again. This stuff is bad enough.. .your Mum doesn't need anything else to bother her, so I hope she will soon be fine again....hugs...Helen...
