In surfing the web for cyst information, it seemed like the majority of womenWomen's way with dermoids KNEW they had dermoids before they were surgically excised...I know it is possible to see a tooth on xray, but most of these womenWomen's way seemed to be diagnosed with dermoid by TV ultrasound alone...Just wondering if that was true for anyone here who has had a dermoid removed...
I had two softball sized dermoids, but they did not know that until they were removed. Sometimes you can tell and it also depends on the report the dr gets from the radiologist as to what info is given.
