luckily i dont have pain especially considering my 2 cyts are around 12 and 15 cm...i had pain in november which brought me to the er...i do occassiionally get back pain and groinGroin lump Groin pain Groin stretch Jock itch Swollen lymph nodes in the groin pain but not really...My CA-125 was 44 but dr feels its the endomteriosis. i dont have any other symptoms just some pressurePressure ulcer and pain during ovulation and it is not bad. I am so worked up about this up and coming surgery...I feel like cancelling again..thats how scared I am..trying to cope it is so scary and frustrating..well, i hope you can get to the bottom of your health issues..you should not have to suffer like this...Keep in touch and feel good...
Hello! how are you doing ? I know how scary it is..but please dont cancel the surgery..prolonging it will make anxiety worse! you will feel so much better after it is all over with.I had ca125 test my level was 4,gyno suspected endometriosis but I had laparscopy in Aug'06 that was fine no endo found. After yrs of IBS I get different opinions from gi drs..my gyno is wondering about crohns disease but I dont fit all symptoms for that.I think alot of it is stress and anxiety...I always had anxiety issues and would get the worse gut pain, but this time it is all over.Especially when surgeon told me if he does end up taking gallbladder out it prob will be open abdominal surgery not laparscopy...(lapartomy) that didnt help.I want it out,I been begging..lol,but the thought of majorMajor tears Major-gesic abdominal surgery is wrecking havoc on the nerves! so I know how you feel!
When is your surgery? keep me posted, prayers,
Stephanie
Hi GMA, I agree wholeheartedly with Stephanie, get the surgery over with, those aliens will only cause more problems as they grow! If you have never had surgery the fearFears and phobias is the worst part. I have had surgery four times, three laparotomies and one laproscopy. (laporotmy just means longer recoveryRecovery position - series time Stephanie so don't fret!) Which one are you having GMA?, laproscopy or laporotomy, aka keyhole incisionsIncision for abdominal laparoscopy Incision for lung biopsy Incision for pleural tissue biopsy Incision for thyroid gland surgery versus bikini incision? I had the first laporomy when I was 11 for a urital issue, being a kid had it's advantage since I wasn't really scared, but bet my Mom sprouted a few grey hairs over it! Had my tubes tied via laproscopy after my daughter was born and the "fun" of emergency surgery a year later for ectopic pregnancy (we are way too fertile in my Fam!) a year later. I had two benign aliens along with the left overy removed in Nov. 2005 and was glad to get them out before I had serious symptoms like so many here. Be certain to tell your Dr. and the Nurses in pre-op about your anxiety, they can help since it is very very common. Hang in there Cysters! MV
Ty Raven you for your post..it dont seem as scary now.I've had laparscopy and major surgery for appendicitis in oct 2006,so I'm not new to surgery's,but still have anxiety issues over with but will go ahead and get it over with!
gma718,trust me...go through with it.The benefits outweigh the risks! I was sooooooo scared my first time, but it was not as bad as I thought.I had every fear..worried about dying..(unlikely!!!!) and pain.Hang in there!
