serum ferritin and ovarian cancer

My mother was diagnosed as OC Ia grade3.Now she is in her third cycle chemotherapy. Before the operation, her CA125 is normal and serum ferritin is a little bit higher than normal. But now the serum ferritin is increasing with the chemotherapy .What is this indicate?Does it mean the tumor is growing?I'm really worried about it.Thank you so much!

According to my medical dictionary, a high ferritin level could mean a high dose of iron is being taken. Ask the doctor about it.
