Just want you to know my prayers, thoughts and good wishes are with your daughter and you at this time...my problems seem so minor compared to what you are enduring..also...if I was to harsh I was just taken back with your comment...sometimes we all need a little "tough love" to open our eyes and I am a good person and respect what you were trying to get across especially since I now see how unimportant my posts were at this time. May your daughter be well and fight this horrible disease.

     I live in a world of acronyms, hate addressing anyone by initials or acronyms.  What else can I call you?
     Stat knows GMA so I suggest we move on.  The shoving does start periodically on this site but this patient to patient forum is resilient and there are way too many woman you find it everyday.  Not upset they find this site, glad, but sorry that so many of us are plagued by this.  The threat of ovca and the reality of it draws us together.  If there is a stress overload now and then, color me surprised!  We all have to commit to fighting the dragon, as I  ovca.  All you have to do is tell your girlfriends, sisters, aunts, every woman you know that the annual GYN check-up is how we all keep watch and, unfortunayely, we  have major surgery because there is no non-intrusive test to call the 1% forward from the 99%.  Sucks canal water but unless we all spread the word and act responsibly with regard to our own health, this dragon hides in the dark of ignorance  That's what you are trying to do now GMA. take care of you and if you get a chance to shed a little light, it's a good day.  Imagine those women who don't even understand the value of an annual GYN exam.  I know some, do you?  When I get the chance, and this sort of thing does not come up often, but when I have the chance, I try to pass on the information.  When it comes to ovca they say, "It whispers so Listen".  I do.  MV

You speak many words of wisdom and I wish you good health. My surgery has been put on hold for now as i am dealing with an tooth infection. Hopefully I will be courageous enough to have the surgery soon...I know that it NEEDS to be done...There are no choices here so I am taking it one day at a time.
