suppliment chemovive??

Have any of you heard of this suppliment or tried it?  If only half of their claims are good, it would still be worth looking into.  Checked the companies realibility and it is good.

Ok.  I have a 3 year old who has been battling cancer for 2 years this May.  She has 2 types of cancer, and 2 of some of the worst cancers out there.  The 1st is Choroid Plexus Carcinoma,(Brain Tumor) and Adrenalcortical Carcinoma(Cancer of the Adrenal Gland).  The ACC has recently spread to her lungs.  She just finished her 1st cycle of a new chemo regiment to try and shrink the tumors.  I have been giving her chemovive, and nutratose, for more then a month now.  She had chemo 8 months ago, and the difference is tremendous.  The past treatments left her with mouth sores, extreme nausea, fatigue, lost 6 pounds, and had depression.  Well during her most recent chemo cycle, she threw up only 1 time!  I havent even had to give her any nausea medicine.  She is eating whatever she wants, and had not lost her appetite.  She even goes outside to ride her bike, and still wants to go places.  This is a complete turnaround compared to before.  We even had her counts checked this past Friday, and they cant believe it, but her white blood count is actually going up.  And the only thing that is low, is her platelets, but not low enough for a transfusion.  So take this information, and do what you will with it, because it has helped my daughter soo much!

I like the fact that people are sharing their experiences, trials and advises. I read the information and do my own research.  We can't be responsible for what others do with the information. But most of us are seeking the same thing: avoid suffering.  I feel that these postings could help find common denominators that may lead to a cure.  Keep sharing!!!

My daughter always asks first and if Mayo tells her it is ok,  then she does it.  So far so good.  No side affects and feeling much better, if it doesn't stop or kill cancer at the least it can make a person feel better , vitamines are the sorce of energy for all of us and as you get older they dissapate ,  all researchers will tell you that upon examinations they usually find a vitamin shortage .  Raw is better than cooked, fresh is better than ready to serve,  Leslee is doing ginger, 1650 mg of Vit C , sage tea, flax seed oil, multi vit, lots of fresh veggies and fruits , yogurt and many other helpful things to boost her immune system.

CFK,

You didn't read JoA post. I am copying it for you-------

He immediately put me on: 2000 mg of VITAMIN D
40 mcg of SELENIUM
1 DAILY MULTY VITAMIN

He MEANING HER ONCOLOGIST!

She's just trying to help everyone here! She wants to help people we know that don't have cancer also. There are many medical studies on Vitamin D. My husband is taking it--it was strongly advised for him by our naturopath after he had a blood test. His blood test showed he was deficient. And also she is trying to help herself!! For godsakes it has been in her brain.

Wow, I wonder why CFK chooses to be so negative about the results of the study. I started the vitamins on March 6th. The research results had just been oublish the week before. I'll be seeing my oncologist on April 3. It seems this combo of vitamins will prevent cancer & for those who have cancer it helps fight it.The combo of vitD with selenium is the important part. I"m certainly telling everybody, it sure can"t hurt. My doctor has been involved in the research & he said he has tested people who have zero vitamin D in thier bodies! I think your body makes it from sunlight.

I am sorry if I sound negative about this latest vitamin supplement but I think it is very unwise for anyone to just start taking these supplements without medical advice. I know that many of you will ask for advice before taking these but there is the danger that others will just go out and buy them over the counter. There can be adverse effects when taking such a high dose of any vitamin and while some of us would try anything to help our condition, I am always rather cynical about any new claims. I hope that this is a good combination to take but I will proceed with caution.

Hi there - great to hear your specialist is so enthusiastic - when did you start your vit,. regime and has it worked for you.   Did your cancer go into remission or your CA125 come down?
Thanks for any help you can give.

You sound really discouraged right now. Some of the drugs we read about may be a little late in preventing OUR cancer, but there are friends and family out there that could benefit from that kind of knowledge, don't you think? I think it's nice that everyone is willing to share the benefit of their successes and failures. Who knows there may be something out there that will benefit us all. Cheer up..............the day's just getting started. Hope yours is a great one!

Well, I think for most on this site being told of some 'magic' formula which can prevent cancer is not much help. I think this is really unhelpful and I am tired of reading about all of these combinations which have so - called miracle results.

My oncologist told me that the latest research result are out & show that a combo of vitimins will PREVENT 80% OF ALL CANCERS! he said following this program could put 1/2 of all cancer specialists out of business!

He immediately put me on:    2000 mg of VITAMIN D
                                           40 mcg of SELENIUM
                                            1 DAILY MULTY VITAMIN

That's it, so simple. Imagine this combination will prevent all cancers from ever developing!?!?!? What harm can there be in doing this? Isn't it worth a try?
Tell people you care about.
