surgery today

by rmarie, Apr 03, 2007 12:00AM
Surgery today, I feel surprisingly calm, in spite of not knowing if the lesion is lung, liver or diaphram. It will be like Christmas when I wake up, some present.  I only wish I didn't have to do the bowel prep again, hate them.  Hope to be out of the hospital in 5 days, one doctor says 10, one said 5 and I did not ask the 3rd.  Peace.

We will be waiting for you Rmarie!  Hope you are back in five but will welcome you no matter how long.  I hate that prep too!  Yuch!  I had a lime lollipop that I used to take the anti-taste away after gulps.  My thoughts and prayers Cyster!  MV

Wishing you all the very best. Thank God you are calm. Isn't it a wonder that when we face surgery that comes over us. (It did for me too when I had brain surgery 2x) You have an angel on your shoulder watching over you. I always look at the more unfortunate circumstances and it seems to help. For instance, in the old days we'd get a stick in our mouth and a pint of whiskey for our anesthesia. Best of luck--my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
