I was looking under the heading Topotekan which my Mum has now been given . She was told by the onc that this was the 'Big Gun' and was the last chemo available but reading the posts I see that people have gone on from this to try other forms( she has had carboplatin and caelyx ),surely they should try other types and not give up. She has good quality of life at the moment.
Thanks for the reply Jane, I never thot of the Two chemo possibility- I don't think it's limitedbut will deffinately check that out. Thanks for the advice and my thots are with you in your battle too

There are so many other chemo drugs and treatments left for your Mum to make use of, I don't understand her doctor.
I see that you're in Scotland, U.K.. Is that part of the health care system to allow only 2 chemo drugs?
Good luck to your Mum, keep in touch with us.
