uterus and adnexas , does it includes ovaries too?

Isa
Hi!

I just came from the doctor office. PAP came ngative. abdominal ctscan is okay, only a small calcification between liver and gallblader (sugested gallblader sonography) PELIV CT SCAN SAID: UTERUS AND ADNEXAS APPEARS NORMAL. NO MASS. Well, as my doctor could not find the ovaries on the sonogram, I thought they would be seen on the ctscan..but it says only uterus and adnexas...does adnexas mean ovaries? gyn said i dont have any mass.. okay, but he didnt tell me if the ovaries were seen...he only read the radiologist results..but didnt get a look a the ctscan film. i asked him what then could be those ovarie and back pain...he said maybe i have some endometriosis and that at least i dont have any mass showing on the pelvic ctscan... nothing else he said. he ordered some hormone test and that gallbladder radiography.  well, i am still confused... i dont know what to do...i dont have that much money to be from doctor to doctor... hope this is something perimenopause related and not something worst...
