I am 44, mother of two. I had intermiten pain in the lower left abdomen two years ago and severe cramping during period for about four years. However, it has gotten better this year. Saw my gyno three years ago and had ultrasound; nothing abnormal except higher than normal level of estrogen in my left ovary. The pain went away this year and my periods seem to be a bit lighter than the heavy bleeding I had for the past four years. Still am having clots during period.
About two and a half months ago I bought the wrong vitamin that should be used by pregnant women and took it for about a month. Now I am having aches in the belly around the belly button and below the belly button. Sometimes I can feel my belly harden and painful in that area. My abdomen is also bigger than used to. What does this mean? I have an appointment with my family doctor next week. What questions should I ask? Thanks much!
