perfect
thank you for the information

you are getting a good evaluation.
have you had a pap smear recently?

I suspect that if there is anything significant in the vagina, itcold be seen on speculum exam and by palpation.
Ask your doctor if he feels anything on exam.

A gartner's duct cyst is a benign cyst of the vagina

other possibilities could be that the vagina is folded over on the top after the hysterectomy (remember it is a tube. The top is sewn shut after a hysterectomy like a mitten.)

it could also represent an endometriotic cyst or the other ovary.

Another test than can be helpful is a CA 125. It is elevated in endometriosis
best wishes

Thanks for trying to answer my question... I went to a specialist cause i on occassions have an attack in my stomach and radiates to my back. being that in the past have had many operations due to endometrios where i had a hysterctomy and had an ovary removed due to a pre cancer cells where a lesion was found  in my ovary. So he organised for me to have a ct scan..the report states, No Bowel abnomality demonstrated, There has been previous Hysterctomy. There is a high density area in the right side of the vaginal vault, possibly representing an area of enhancement..the area measured approx 10 x 11mm..pelvis ultasoundsuggested for follow up.
I had a pelvic ultrasound 2weeks ago.. and the report says a small cyst is noted in the vagina vault. This could represent a Gartner's cyst and it measures 7.7 x 9.0mm.
Summary: Benign appearing lesion in the vagina vault.
I am booked in tho have a colonscopy and gastrospy in another 2weeks.. due to a family history of bowel cancer and ovarian cancer.
