want to say thank you

As my surgery day gets closer i am more scared. I had all the blood work done last week but have heard nothing yet so not sure if that is good or not good. I just wanted to say thank you to all that post as for a mom of 4 who has never had problems like this before (5cm cyst on right ovary....dt not sure what all is going to have to be done Friday) have been pretty freeked out. I have been on sevearl times a day to read and you all have helped me well, but to be honest still freeked out but i think the biggest thing is just not knowing how i am going to come out of surgery, with just a few holes are cut wide open, ya know.
But you all show so much strength and courage and want to say God Bless to all and you are all in my prayers.
Thank you can not even tell you how you all have helped me out.

Mok, well I guess it is time for hubby to step up to the plate. Mine is the same way but when the chips are down, they surprise us. Good luck tomorrow! We'll be waiting to hear from you.

We are all here for each other and we all know it. Isn't that wonderful? TRY to ease your mind and know that God is with you and we are too. You will be much healthier when you are through this. It is difficult to be suddenly thrown into a situation where you aren't in control especially when you have children depending on you. Keep us posted and we will be waiting to hear from you!

I know it is hard, but just try to relax.  Do something for yourself to take your mind off of it even for a little while.  To all those having surgery today God Speed.  I am praying for all of you on this site.  Take care

I have pre op tomorrow and surgery Friday.thank you all for the encouraging words. I have been trying so far today to stay busy with the kids and all. And getting house ready (i dont know about the rest of you but hubby has hard time even dressing kids or making things other than pb&j...lol).
But again thank you to all and i will keep in touch after surgery. I am sure i will be back on here in a bit..hard to stay away.

Good luck with your surgery... Does your husband like to BBQ? I bought my husband a great BBQ cookbook and ever since he does 90% of the cooking (indoor & out), he has always loved to cook & I think the book helped reconnect him to something he loved to do.

Sorry was going to ask if when anyone else was scared if the symtoms seemed to become worse. My body just seems heavier and train of thought basically gone. I know the odds are with me that it is not cancer but my grandmother just had a radical hysterecomy about 7 months ago from oc and had chemo and such so just kinda freeked. Thanks again.....
