zapping my bone marrow

zapping my bone marrow

I seem to be having trouble with my chemo treatments. The doctors call me interesting because they can't figure out why the chemo keeps attaching my red and white cells, plus my platlets. Everytime I go to have my next treatment it gets put off because either one of these three are low or all three are low. I have stage 3 ovarian cancer and started out receiving taxol and carbo every three weeks, but because it seem to be zapping my bone marrow too much they put me on a lower dose every week for three weeks with one week off. Even the lower doses are too much for my bone marrow. I'm considered only on my fifth session after six months because of having to put off my treatments all the time. I understand that this is not common which has me concerned and I'm sure the doctors are too, but their not saying anything. They mentioned switching taxol with it's cousin (I forget the name) or putting me on a maintence program. My ca 125 is at 500 the last time it was checked. I'm worried that my ca 125 is too high for a maintence program right now. Please give me your opinion without sugar coating it because it's my guess that the doctors are not telling me everything. Thanks
