3 periods in 4 weeks
Hey, I am on my 3rd period in 4 weeks...The 1st two were normal but the latest one is like a dark brown. I do suffer with PCOS is this just a syptom of this, or cud if be something else? and advice wud b nice. x
What other symptoms that made you go to your doctors? I am now on my real period. So am feelin pretty fed up with myself of havin 4 periods in 7 weeks =[ Did the docter send you to have the cysts removed or did u ask for it to be removed? My docter just swobbed me an said results are good....but she nos that I have PCOS so surly she would of sent me to get it checked over?
That was the one symptom that made me go to the doc. I ended up with a cyst on both sides and had to have them removed. It wasn't long (like weeks) after the three periods in a month that the pain started.
Often women with PCOS have fewer than nine periods a year. Some women have no periods. Others have very heavy bleeding. I don't have PCOS, but sometimes my period is dark brown. It's normal for the color of your menstrual blood to range from red to dark brown or almost black as you near the end of your period. The color change is a sign that it is older blood, and it is not being removed from the body quickly. It is usually nothing to worry about.
