I had been having severe cramping, alot of back pain, constipation and very fatigue. i went to see a new gyno, she didn't seem too interested in my symptoms, she just wanted to give me the pill and said that would make my pain go away. It felt like I had to beg her for an ultrasound. I didn"t want to seem like a hypochondriac but something is wrong with me. Last year I had a cyst on my left ovary removed, I do have a history of cancer in my familyBirth control and family planning Choosing a primary care provider Ewing’s sarcoma Family troubles - resources. My great grandmother (maternal) had breast cancer, my aunt (maternal) has mutiple myelomaMultiple myeloma, my uncle (also maternal) had lukemia. In October 2008 when I had my last ultrasound there was no more evidence of fibroidsFibroid tumors Uterine fibroids or cysts, how (in a year) can another develop? I am a pretty healthy 26 y/o (will be 27). Now I'm getting worried. What's going on with me?
Cysts can grow very quickly from my understanding. I have heard womenWomen's way say that they are in lots of pain from very small to very large cysts. Then other womenWomen's way have no pain at all and they may have very large cysts. If you feel the pain and its all too familiar, don't let your dr dismiss it! Did you get an appointment for the US? I am sorry you are going through too. My dr.'s found a large mass in me (8 CM) a couple weeks ago, and long story but they don't seem to care how much pain i am in....ugh. Take care and keep us all posted on how you are doing.
