Bilateral Complex Cysts

4AM Saturday morning I was brought to my knees by blinding abdomen pain - it actually made me pass out. Got to the ER about 9 that morning and a "cyst" was found on my rt ovary. I was given lots of pain meds and anti-nausea meds, given some funny looks and told "see your obgyn next week". So I saw her on Tuesday, the pain was still a 7, bleeding, no bowel movements and painful to pee. She got concerned about my appendix, did CT, ab ultrasound, vag ultrasound, then upper ab ultrasound after fluid was seen. She started me on a serious dose of anti-biotics until she could review all the scans. Today she said I have bilateral complex cysts, blood in my tummy and some free flowing complex fluid. I've been on bed rest since Sunday and will stay in bed until I go back to her next Wednesday to 're-evaluate' ... I'm really aggravated that I didn't ask more questions.

Hi, thank you for replying --- appendicits, torsion, pelvic infection, endometrius and eptopic were are all checked and negative. One cyst did burst on the right, the left one is just hanging out. They are complex and the fluid is complex. I have a weekly follow up today. I have my list of questions ready to go.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
The severe pain can be due to appendicitis, ruptured ovarian cyst, torsion of a cyst, pelvic infection, endometriosis etc. Also such symptoms can be because of an ectopic pregnancy. Hence if there is such a risk, a pregnancy test can be done. Discuss with your Doctor.
Take care and good luck.
