Calcium Deposits on Ovary

I have a small cysts on my right ovary and it doesn't give me too much grief.  But my right ovary has a massive calcium deposit - which has enlarge it to the size of a plum and stopped me ovulating.  (I am guessing that last bit as it is so big.

Can anyone tell me what causes these deposits?  I have cut out milk, incase it's that.

Pls help, thanx

i believe the same way ... i pray u relief and a recovery ... did u already have a laparoscopic procedure to determine the nature of these "cysts"  ... if not i would go for a consult with a different gyn for a second opinion (bring all ur lab/radiology reports with u) .. basically if they arent being clear with u ... u deserve an answer ... if they cant give it to u look elsewhere if u can (if not stay in their office and dont leave until u have an answer)
good luck

While I don't have any answers to provide, I can pray for you, and I will.
I hope that the doctors you visit and discuss this situation can give you the help you need, and the comfort you deserve.

I know how miserable it is to "not be able to be yourself" when you feel chronic pain, and I hope that your pain is diagnosed and resolved quickly.

Amen!

Hi Sharon,

I am 40 years old.  I think there was a hormonal cysts there.  I say think as I am getting mixed messages.  The consultant said that I have to benign tumours on the pelvic floor and the surgeon who does the diagnostic laparoscopy said that they were just fibroids.

when they scanned me they said that I had cysts on both sides and now its only the right and the deposits on the left.

Symptoms:  very uncomfortable all the time.  Major pain on the first day of my period.  I once bled between periods.

unable to have sex as its so painful

thank you

Sorry, I have absolutely no experience with this. What does your Dr. say?
