Can a cyst push on the leg?

Hi.
I have a large ovarian cyst on the left side.  I notice late, when I walk for a long time, the top part of my leg is sore. I'm almost limping. It never was before. The doctor said I must have had this for a while due to the size. I'm wondering if it grew more? It seems as though it is pushing on things that affect the leg muscle etc. Does this happen to anyone? Could that be the reason? What should I do? Thanks.

Hi.
Really?  Wow! That is good to know.  As I have more of an idea what is going on. The doctor hasn't set a day for surgery or said what she's going to do yet.  She wants to see another ultrasound on the 10th and have me back to her office on the 23rd. Then she'll tell me her plan. It either grew or something shifted.  The pain when I walk never happened before. Something happened. Thanks for the reply. My guess though is surgery because of the size.

Yes, cysts can do that.  It may have grown larger or things can just shift and it starts to affect another area.  Unfortunately there is nothing you can do except painkillers until you get it out.  When are you scheduled for surgery?
