As mentioned in my question- I was assessed in the ER a week ago with brown discharge between my period- lower abdominal pain, lower back pain, and fatigue. An ultrasound was performed. The findings were / are - The fundal portion of my endometrium is heterogeneous- 8mm. No fluid. A complex right ovarian cyst was identified- consistent with an involuting follicle. Left ovary was not well seen.
The physician sent me home with the report and said I have nothing to worry about- but my heath is number one to me and my family as to those reading this I am sure. I am in a position where I do not understand what this report means, and also what steps I may need to take. My other symptoms are- weight gain of 40 pounds without lifestyle change, belly very swollen; as I look 9 months pregnant, very bad lower back pain that radiates, and lower abdominal pain- almost burning feeling. White counts from lab- higher than normal but I guess not to the extreme.
I am 43. 3 children. History of lumps- Spindle cell removal L thigh aprox 12 years ago, Lipoma removal 3 months ago from posterior of neck, Lipoma removals from both breasts- other than that- I am healthy.
I do not have a gynecologist, and when I informed my regular GP he said the time to see a OBGYN is aprox. 9 months.
Any information would be appreciated at this time, and I thank you in advance to anyone responding.
Thank you!
