I wish you can help me my sono results, the results says like this:
Sonographic examination of the pelvis with an endovaginal approach shows an anteverted uterus measuring 8.3x4.3x4.7 cm. Minute cervica nabothian cyst are present. no focal uterine lessions are seen. The right ovary measures 2.8x2.3x1.7 cm. Minute cystic areas are seen within the right ovary; the largest of which measures 1.1 cm. the left ovary measures 3.3x1.1x1.4 cm. Minute cystic areas are seen within the left ovary; the largest of which measures 6 mm.
IMPRESSION: (1) PHYSIOLOGIC CHANGES OF THE OVARIES. (2) CERVICAL NOBATHIAN CYSTS.
Nothing of any major concern there. Minute cystic areas of the ovary might be an indicator of polycystic ovarian syndrome or maybe it's just normal monthly cycle stuff. Nabothian cysts are unrelated to ovarian cysts and are almost always benign features that are left alone unless causing discomfort. There should be a pap smear done of the cervix to make sure normal results are obtained.
Even small cysts can cause some pain in the abdomen and the back, sometimes sending pain signals down the legs as well. Many eventually go away on their own. What follow up, if any, did the doctor recommend?
