I am sorry you are dealing with this. Try not to freak out. Most cysts are benign, even complex ones. Hopefully, it will resolve on its own over the next 2 to 3 months.
You certainly don't want to have surgery unnecessarily since any surgery and especially pelvic surgery has a number of risks. Also, far too many women lose an ovary or both ovaries and even the uterus unnecessarily. We need all our organs our whole lives. They are not just for reproduction. If ovarian cysts need surgical intervention, it is best to have just the cyst removed (cystectomy). A frozen section can be done right then and there (while in the operating room) and if it is negative (benign), there would be no need to remove anything else.
My organs were needlessly removed 10 years ago and I have been paying the price ever since.
Keep us posted.
They didn't give me specifics no.... Just that is was complex. To be honest I tend to not ask as I would google even more then what I already am :( I have myself so worked up with fear its crazy!
I hope to have the results of the CA125 today or tomorrow to give me some direction. I know it can have false positives and negatives, it will still provide me some guidance.
