In what I have read since I've been involved with this forum, if a cyst has not resolved itself within 2 months it usually doesn't. Yes, a complex cyst is more concerning and I agree that waiting is a lot to ask, especially with you feeling so badly. I would insist they do something now or ask for a 2nd opinion. Please let us know how it goes. Good luck.
Thanks for the reply!
Well its been two days since they diagnosed me with the complex cyst and my symptoms are getting worse. I called them the day after the diagnosis and told them that the symptoms are getting worse and they just told me to keep taking ibuprofen for the symptoms and that I would have to wait until September for the next ultrasound. Thats not even taking the pain away. I have extreme nausea and extreme cramping (the kind you have with a UTI). My abdomen feels extremely full and heavy. They said I didn't have a UTI when I was diagnosed with the cyst My stomach is extremely swollen. I am waiting for blood test results that I should get Monday. I almost thought that they were early signs of pregnancy, but the urine tests came back negative so they did a pregnancy blood test. Does any one know what could be causing these sympotoms? I am extremely scared and don't feel well. Should a 2cm complex cyst be causing such painful symptoms or does someone else have any suggestions? Thanks...
