Discharge after Laporoscopic surgery

I had laparoscopic surgery one week ago today and about an hour ago I was looking at my belly button in the mirror cause I keep having bad pains in my belly button and there is a dark brown gooey discharge coming out from the incision. Does anyone know if this is normal? Thanks in advance.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
Discharge from the wound one week after surgery needs medical attention. This can be because of infection or haematoma at the site of incision. Consult your Doctor for an examination. Hope this helps.
Take care & good luck.
