Do they come back after removing the ovary?

I had a 10cm non cancerous cyst and ovary removed last December. My periods still haven't returned to normal. I'm starting to feel like I have another cyst in the same spot the last one was. Is this possible or is it something else? Or can I be imagining it. Advice please! I'm only 24 I don't want to have another surgery.

I had a 5cm simple fluid cyst as well as ovary and tube removed in Feb. My periods went back to normal afterwards, however I think that was because of going back onto BCP because i couldnt handle how i was feeling with my hormones being all over the place.

Ive had pains in the area similar to a cyst returning, it comes and goes. however I havent had it checked out yet. I'm a chicken to find out because I like you, dont want another surgery. Maybe its scar tissue, i dont know if a cyst can try to form there, I havent done much research on it cause I know I'll drive myself crazy. The only thing I can think of is to stop in to your family dr or see if you can get an appt with your gyno if possible and see whats going on. Good luck!
