I had failed IVF last year and I know at that time I had 3 endometriomas all measuring around 3cm but they were not removed. I am currently going through IVF but when I had my scan it showed I had a couple of large endometriomas, one 7cm & the other 5cm both on my left ovary - when they done the laparoscopyDiagnostic laparoscopy Gynecologic laparoscopy Incision for abdominal laparoscopy Laparoscopy Pelvic laparoscopy the 2 cysts were actually one v large cyst which has been removed and they also found endo on bladder & right side which was lasered off. Could the endometriomas have been the cause of the IVF failing last year? This is our last chance at IVF and I am worried that if the endo returns it could have a detrimental effect on our chances of conceiving. Is pegnancy or hysterectomyHysterectomy Hysterectomy - series the only alternatives?? :0(
I'm sorry but I don't know much about endometriosis and its affect on fertility moving forward. The endometriomas could have affected your IVF as they can alter your hormones.
