Great News !!!!

I am scheduled for TAH/BSO on 7/23 at the medical university ... the surgeon i met with today put me on the team with the gyn onc at the cancer treatment center ... that is precisely what i prayed for ... i met him and the team today and they are totally awesome

i wanted to have the surgery on 7/17 but i have only one road block ... due to insurance requirements its going to take awhile to get a colonoscopy ... not that i am looking foward to any of this except that in my heart i know its going to make me feel so much better ... the larger cyst is now 13 cm's (grown three cm in only three weeks) ... and the ascites have grown to the level of my navel !  i know u can all relate to how uncomfortable i am but i figured u would appreciate knowing that ur prayers HAVE worked

that is some of the best advice ever ... i am going shopping for myself for a change LOL ... get some house dresses and sandals for post op and YES ... i am going to the hair salon ... thank u so much i feel great just thinking about it

I'm so glad you like your team and they are on your side!  You are in good hands, Sharon.  Try to do some nice things while you wait for surgery like see your hair dresser, go to lunch etc.  Your day will be here and you will have the relief you need.  You are a gentle warrior - we all are.  Blessings.....

I am so gald that you were able to schedule surgery so fast.  It sounds like prayers have been answered by you getting the doctor and the location that you were wanting.  I can't believe how fast you cyst has grown (you may need that seatbelt extender after all.  LOL).  You know I am praying for you, and I know that you will be just fine.  Hope to her from you soon.  I sent you a note and an e-mail a bit ago.  You are in my prayers.  Love, Kasie
