Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi all- I am 22 years old and have been having abdominal cramping for the past few months. I tried putting it off, until the pain was just too unbearable. I got an ultrasound and the results showed I have a 5.2 cm cyst on my right ovary. My gyno gave me the option of birth control or surgery, but I opted to try bc for a few months before any surgery. My acne has been acting up since I've had the cramping (I still have both even though I am on birth control), and now my breasts are becoming sore and I'm spotting (which has never, ever happened to me before!) Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone have suggestions on how to help with all of this aggravating pain? From sunrise to sunset I am constantly thinking about this because of the constant aches and pains.

Hopefully this cyst will resolve on its own as most do. You don't want to have surgery unnecessarily. How long has it been since the cyst was found? I am not aware of any certain foods that would help or hurt. Hoping it goes away!

I am also wondering if my diet has anything to do with the aches, and wondering if there's a certain diet that would help..
