Help me, I'm very worried ):

Alright, well I'm late on my period by 12 days now and last night I was feeling my stomach and lower area where my ovaries are, and I felt a lump on my left one. It doesn't hurt or anything I just felt it. The my back's been hurting me for awhile now - like a stiffening pain. I'm going to go to the doctor in a week if I don't start my period. Does this sound like the symptoms of an ovarian cyst? Help, please ):

Could be a cyst. I do suggest to see your gyn and get an ultrasound done. Cysts can prevent a period from coming on.

Please try not to worry.  Having lower back pain is a sign of having an ovarian cyst along with other things.  I'm glad to see that you are seeing your doctor.  I'm not sure that you would be able to feel a lump unless the cyst is very large or if you are very skinny.  Sometimes we get subacious cysts in our fatty layers and we can fee them (usually feels like a pea has gotten under your skin).  Please let us know what you find out!
