Help me ovarian cyst pain

I've had an ovarian cyst on my left ovary for about a month now they gave me medicine to help it shrink an it started feeling better but now I'm in all of pain again. Is it getting bigger? It was bigger then a softball b4. An then 3 or 4 days ago I've been getting the same pain on my right ovary. Am I getting another cyst? Also on my left side by my hip I was getting a horrible pain just siting up or laying down an when u barley touched it, it hurt like some was pinching u from the inside. It lasted for about an hour then stopped. I have a gynecologist appointment on the 26th to see what's all going on. When I went to the hospital an they found the cyst on my left ovary they told me I haven't been ovulating an I wasn't pregnant but it would be to hard to tell if I was at that time. What could be wrong

All they did was talk to me and say I have a pelvic altrasound on the 26th of October to see if it's went down. They didn't even check to see if it got smaller or what.
