Hurting caused from complex cyst.

I had some pains in my right side that wasn't very bad to start with, but I work in a doctors office and the doctor I work for suggested I have a ultrasound, I am 41 and had a hysterectomy 10 years ago. The ultrasound shows ywo complex appearing cysts on the right likely hemorrhagic cysts with the largest measuring 2.4x1.5x1.4 cm. There is a very small amount of free fluid noted about the right ovary. I saw the obgyn today and have been in severe pain on and off since Saturday. Seemed like the obgyn wasn't to concerned and told me when it ruputures it would start to feel better. My point is that it makes me bend over in pain and she tells me there is nothing that she can do. So if she wasn't to concerned about it do I just wait around for it to stop hurting?

i totally agree, i think that the doctors can at times seem to think the pain is not as bad as it is.with a complex cyst reguardless of size they should monitor it,and at least give some kind of information or follow up.

First I always try to alleviate pain by food and vitamins if food does not work then we go to homeopathy and then herbs and the last chemicals remedies and after that surgery.
So to eliminate your lower back pain left side you can take CoQ10 before sleep every night in a glass of water.
I assume you have your cyst on left side also one hour before sleep take in a glass of water dissolve 1/4 tea spoon of cooking baking powder ( Sodium bicarbonate) .  let me know in percentage terms your improvement

the pain is every other month, left lower back radiating up and down. at ovulation, it comes in waves, not constant, depends on movement ie: bending over, reaching for something or  turning fast, then the pain is sharp. At my period , its bloating, bad cramping, diarrhea, pain is lower left back very constant, obvious discomfort. feels as if I am carrying a huge weight, so all movement is slow and cautious.
This month my period arrive christmas day!

Explain the exact location in detail , your period is it scanty? How regular is it? all I can say homeopathy can help you, you will see less pain on your next period some 30 % each time  or even more, explain how the pain starts when it starts where does it go.

I have a small complex cyst too. It causes much pain every other month, at ovulation and then when period arrives. I can barely walk the pain is so bad in my lower left back. I understand that it is small and not a concern to doctors, but the pain is real and often scary. I think ObGyn can be very aloof about the pain.

Homeopathic remedy ANTIMONIUM TART 30C is helpful because to decrease the cyst this remedy is sedative use only once a week Friday night make an ultrasound every month to see how it is decreasing. You should see the results after three month

I've been having the same pains as you, and went to my OBGYN and she prescribed me tramadol, then hydrocodone because it got so bad.  It helped subside the pain a bit but didn't get rid of it.  You just have to wait it out as bad as that sounds until it ruptures.  Hope you feel better soon.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
The cysts you have mentioned are not very large and most probably are functional cysts. They will either resolve on their own or rupture if they become large. Symptomatic treatment like antispasmodics, antibiotics if infection is suspected and hormones will help get relief. Consult your Doctor.
Take care and good luck.
