I am losing confidence in my Dr. Please advise
I am about 10 weeks post lower oophrectomy surgery. I have been told I have an abcess in two different places along the incision line. The first one is resolving nicely. The second has developed a chocolate brown color and a gelatinous substance. Is this normal? It is very thick, very heavy draining

That doesn't sound normal to me. Especially because the other incision didn't do that. You should phone your drs office. I think they should take a look at it. Also try taking your temp. If you have a fever 10 days post op you could have an infection.
Best of luck to you!
