I need your help

I have been suffering from Ovarian Cysts since I was 16 years old and I am 32 now. I had an oophorectomy at age 16 of the right side. I have two beautiful children but cannot get an acceptable quality of life because of these no warning episodes. Do you know of a natural remedy that I can use to eliminate and prevent future cysts from forming? My frequency is about 2 to 3 times a year. The regime is pain management at the local ER, follow up transvaginal ultrasounds, and finally a surgical consult for another possible oophorectomy of my left ovary which will make me menopausal at 32 (something that I am trying to avoid). I have been on 7 different birth control methods without success and really could use your expertise and intervention.

Please don't self treat existing cysts.  There is nothing you can do to make one go away and they all need to be treated by a doctor.  You can't know whether they are benign or not until biopsied.  After a cyst has either burst, resolved or been removed do try different things to keep from forming additional cysts.

Hi,
It is normal for cysts to form during our cycles.  It is part of our menstrual cycle.  It's when they don't resolve on their own that it becomes a problem.  It sounds like yours do resolve if you say you get them 2-3 times a year.

I had painful ovulation for years that got progressively worse.  Knowing what I know now, I believe it's when the cyst burst that caused the pain.

Have you requested your transvaginal US reports?  I'm wondering what type of cysts are forming.  That would tell you a lot.  Please be cautious about trying to self diagnose or treat yourself.  If you want to inquire about a natural remedy please seek the advice of a professional Homeopathic MD or DO.

Good luck.

hi

i am in the middle of trying to get rid of my ovarian cyst on my right side naturally.  i have just started a program that i found on the internet that seems to be really good.  here is the site  http://www.ovariancystsnomore.com/.  I ordered the book and have begun a high alkaline diet, as well as taking vitamins and herbs for this.  the book details everything to do, from diet, to supplements, to juice fasts, to castor oil packs for the pain.  the good thing about holistic and natural healing is that it focuses on healing the whole body and putting it back into balance.  this will in turn heal the cyst, or whatever pain or disease you are experiencing.  i have already begun to feel better, and it has only been about 5 days into the program.  it takes a lot of work, because you are changing your diet and the way you perceive healing and medicine, but it is worth it.  on top of the ovarian cyst issue, it has made me feel a lot more healthy all around, at least so far.  it seems that many women who have followed this program have seen their ovarian cysts completely disappear.  anyway, it is worth checking out, and it at least makes you feel like you have the power to make things better for yourself.  let me know if you have any more questions.

This is a tough question.  Birth control pills or the patch are what usually help in this instances.  I have done some reading on iodine inbalances and estrogen dominance being issues.  You might want to do some googling in those areas.  With the estrogen dominance they suggest you adjust your diet and habits to eliminate things that cause it (antibiotics in meat, fertilizers on vegetables, chemicals in your home, etc.).  Good luck with everything.
