I have had 4 dermoid cysts removed.  With each one I had lower back pain, and a bloating.  They seemed to come and go at odd times.
never had any complications with the cyst, I always figured it was my hormones being out of wack causing everything.
Good luck on your surgery!! Hope everything goes good in your final ultrasound!

I was advised that I had a cyst about the size of a lemon.  My doctor put me on birth control for 2 months, I lasted 2 weeks......too much pressure and began having lower back pain.  So, I'm scheduled for a CT in the morning.  Then on Monday 6/14 for the results.....he said I still have my cyst.  Also, I forgot to mention, I'm menopausal and already had a partial hysterectomy with cervix removed 14 years ago.  BUT YES..bak pain with cysts
