LMP cyst removed -now what

I had my tubes and ovaries removed earlier this week due to a rt. ovary LMP cyst by local OB/GYN, CA125 of 9.  I had a cyst on same rt. ovary removed 16 yrs ago.  Had previous consult with GYN/ONC who felt I could keep my uterus and felt that having surgery done locally was fine.  What should I do now?  Is it too late to have pathology second opinion by a gyn pathologist?

I ended up having the pathology slides sent to John Hopkins.  They said it was just a cyst and not LMP.  Thank you all for your support.  I wore my husband out with my anxiety over all of this.  It was nice having you all nearby.

Hi there,
It is very common to have pathology slides re-read for a second opinon. I know that LMP/Borderline diagnosis can be very difficult to diagnose and it is important to get a second opinion to make sure it is just that and not any type of the agressive ovarian cancers. let us know how you make out
