Lower back pain and bloating/pressure

hj1
I am 34 years old. About ten days ago I started to have bad lower back pain, then I got my period.  I thought the lower back pain would subside when my period had ended; however, it has continued.  I am still having some cramping and the lower back pain feels like an intense pressure.  I went to a primary care doctor yesterday and they did a urinalysis and some xrays of my back that all came back normal.  I had a pelvic exam in March that didn't raise any red flags, but I am wondering if I should contact the gynecologist at this point or if I'm over reacting?

Personally, if I were in pain and concerned, I would call the gynecologist. Your health is very important and things can change from March to August.  It certainly cannot hurt to see the gynecologist and ask for an ultrasound to see if anything is going on. Good luck and let us know.
