Mucinous Cystadenoma remove and vaginal pain

Having vaginal pain and pressure which could also be coming from my bladder led me to see my gynaecologist.  It turned out that I had a cyst which my dr removed via laparoscopy. The ovary was left intact as the cyst just looked like a corpus luteum cyst.  The pathology report said it was a MUCINOUS CYSTADENOMA.  My doctor explained that its a cyst that is precancerous and can turn to cancer if we dont keep an eye on it.  I am still having the vaginal pain after the removal.  Can this somehow be related to the cyst?  My CA 125 is 45 which is higher than what it should be but my dr said it can be elevated after surgery.  The pain seems to be worse around the time I have my period (which is now).  Is this something to be concerned with and could this pain be related to something else.  It feels like a burning cutting pain at times and then again it feels like pain or pressure coming from my bladder.  The pain seems to be more on the side where I had my cyst.

Is anyone going through something similar?

Im 2 weeks post op. My dr havent tested for infection.  I had this pain prior to cystectomy and it is still lingering.  I have noticed that it is worse during and right after my period. Its not a yeast infection. Its vaginal pain that feel like its within the vaginal canal and also higher up and somewhat towards my spine (maybe uretha)... I have also (after surgery) noticed that its more on the side of my cystectomy and sometimes i get a vaginal numbness on that side too as well as on my buttocks (same side)... Weird hey?  My period have come and gone and pain seems a lot better? I wonder if its not some endo hidden somewhere. My dr mentioned she removed mild endo too

How long ago was your surgery? That pain and pressure can linger for some time. Has infection been ruled out? If you had a urinary tract infection, you would tend to have burning pain when urinating...sounds like you don't have that.

You cannot count on the CA125 test. Other things besides ovarian cancer can cause an elevated result.
