My report says Complex Heterogeneous Mass. Can someone tell what that is?

My ultrasound report says right ovary contains several small nodules and 2.4 cm complex heterogeneous mass or nodule. What does this mean. My doctor told me I had a cyst but my report says this. I can't find any good information on nodules.
