New here and worried about a "complex looking cyst"

Hi everyone....I recently went in for my yearly checkup with the OB/GYN. My last visit was 4 years earlier....bad i know :(. 4 years ago i had a polyp, so i figured i should go back. well the polyp was still there and the doctor ordered a ultrasound to see if it was connected to the uterus of the cervix.Well i had that done yesterday. Today i got a call saying there was no evidence of the polyp. which she could not understand because she saw it and it was large. But they did find a "complex looking cyst on my right ovary....now im worried with all im reading about them. i never have any pain...nothing that would make me saw wow that hurts....i do feel tired allot and sometime get waves of nausea but never puke...i just thought...well not sure what i though...lol...i have no idea how long this things has been there and im more than a bit worried. my visit with the doctor to go over the ultrasound and see what to do is june 8th!!! seems like a lifetime away...i was hoping to get in sooner. im a stay at home mom to 4 amazing kids....11 9 7 6....2 boys and 2 girls....im 29 years old...im usually not a worry wart...but i cant help it....hoping everything is ok!

Hi try not to stress ( easier said then done I know ) I too was told I have PCOS 12 yrs ago & now have a huge 20cm cyst that didn't cause pain but more of an ache.... Don't worry about how quick it seems they are seeing u too, because the medical tram hav a 2 week turn around as standard, within the first 2 weeks I had been seen 3 times by my doc had a ultrasound scan at another hospital & been referred & seen my consultant at a completely different hospital! So I understand what it is like to worry I really do!
What u need to do is write down loads of questions that u want answered when u see ur doctor, things like:-
Size of cyst,?
What type of cyst do they 'think' it is?
Are they going to do the "wait and see" approach?
Surgery or medication?
Etc etc....

Oh and as for not going to doctors I'm exactly the same :-/ I have had proper periods for over a decade ( I'm 35 yrs old ) and didn't go to Docs until this year (big slap on my wrist :-P)
Also has ur doctor offered u any other blood tests?
If u need to talk just send me a message :-)
I'm going in for surgery to remove my cyst next Friday so will prob be on this site day and night looking fr advice lol take care K
