Ovarian Cyst Symptom's?

Hi there,
I'm new to this site. I was just wondering if you have ovarian cyst's and they just all of a sudden start giving you symptom's like pain in that area, sore breast's, nausa, tiredness?  I've been regular with my cycles' for 5yr's now and last month I was 11 day's late. And now this month I've just been spotting brown discharge only when I wipe. And I'm still having the pain in my Right Lower side.  Can the symptom's of cyst's come on all of a sudden?

Thanks
Danielle

Well actually that was what I was thinking, but last month my dr. did a blood test on the 11th day being late and it was neg. But I've read on these site's that you can still  have a cycle and be pregnant. I wasn't sure when I was going to get my cycle for this month. On the 8th I started spotting just brown only when I wiped and then today the 12th I started my cycle but it already look's like it's stopping. Which that is not my normal I usually flow for at least 6-7 day's HEAVY with clot's. And my cycle last month was the same only 3-4 day's with no clot's and to heavy. And one other thing is I know that it say's that the cyst's with make you nausea......... But I find that when I eat or drink it make's me want to get sick......... So I'm not sure I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the dr say's next month.

I hope this isn't a really foolish question for you.  Are you absolutely certain you are not pregnant? You know,  you can have a "period" of sorts and still be pregnant. I only mention this because of the breast soreness and nausea..This discharge may be spotting ..I had many of the same symptoms many years ago and was pregnant. Unfortunately, it did not end well, but that was a long time ago...

Just throwing in my 2 cents worth, too. Definitely call your doctor and I would think that they would recommend a tvus for you and hopefully, that will give you answers.

Hi Danielle,
I  agree with the above post , cysts can be very disruptive to your cycle and cause hormone inbalances . Definately a tvus would be a good idea to see if there is a cyst .

Good luck , Best wishes Angie

Hi Danielle and welcome to the forum.  You will find a lot of great, and helpful women on this site.  You can definately have symptoms of a cyst that just comes out of nowhere.  I would recommend that you get ahold of you gyn and get in to see her.  A cyst can also interrrupt your cycles.  Ask your doctor for a transvaginal ultrasound.  I hope you get to felling better soon.  Please keep us posted on how you are doing.
