Ovarian Cyst w/ debris or "junk" found an annual exam

I am 38 years old, pre-menopausal and I had put off my annual gyn exam for almost two full years and finally decided I needed to go since in my early 20's I had hpv and I know I should not put these things off.  In late 2008 I had a breast lump removed and it turned out to be a benign fibroadenoma. Yay!  Anyway, since my doc has an US machine in his office, as soon as he felt my enlarged right ovary he whisked me off to get a TVUS.  He then showed me what a normal or simple cyst looks like (there were several and expected to be there) and then he showed me the cyst that was his cause for concern.  It had "junk" in it, to quote the doc.  He then ordered a CA-125 and explained to me that even if the blood test comes back elevated it could be caused by many numerous conditions and only if it was really high would he be suspicious of cancer.  I'm supposed to find out Mon or Tues the test results.  He also said that he would want me to come back in six weeks to do another TVUS.  I have no family history of breast cancer, ovarian cancer or cervical cancer.  My biological grandmother is spunky and active at 93 and my mom is spunky and really active at 70.
Questions:
If the CA 125 comes back as normal or only slightly elevated, are there any other tests I should do, such as hormone levels?
Should I request a series of CA 125 to monitor the levels over a period of time?
Any advice and input is greatly appreciated!

Good news, the CA 125 came back at 9.5......

so now I just wait for the follow up TVUS to see what happens to the cyst

still, the question remains, should I ask for any other type of testing, hormone levels?

I just wanted to add that my doc did not mention the possibility of this cyst bursting, he didn't mention or advise me to avoid exercise or strenuous exercise.  Also, he did say that I did not have any excess fluid during the TVUS and he said that was a good sign, and I tend to have very heavy and long periods, and clotting is not uncommon for me.  My last two periods I actually had blood flow so heavy that it was alarming.
