Ovarian Cyst

I just went to the doctor three days ago. They did and Intravaginal ultrasound because I was so bloated they couldn't see anything on the normal ultra sound. The nurse came and told me I had a hemmoragic cyst and ordered a cbc. They gave me an antibiotic and pain killers. My bloating has not gone down at all. I'm very petite so I feel dumb out in public since I look 7 months prego. I'm 28 years old and wasn't too concerned until my stomach has not gone down in size at all. Any suggestions on what to do?? I'm getting pretty nervous. I no longer am in pain, but no downsize of bloating has occured.

Thanks!

I have the same problem with being bloated. I lost all my pregnancy weight so fast without doing anything, but all of a sudden I recently gained 15 lbs. and I look pregnant, but I'm not. It turns out I have 2 cysts on one ovary that are causing me a lot of trouble. I would suggest they give you a lap to see what is going on. Just remember that a lot of doctors don't really understand how to handle cysts/endo so it's a good idea to find a specialist if you don't think your doctor is doing a good job.

The bloating won't go away until the cyst is resolved or removed.  Why did they give you antibiotics?  Do they feel the cyst burst and are being precautionary?  It is not the usual treatment.  What is their plan?  What size is the cyst?  Are they planning surgery?
