Even though my Cyst is 2 centimeters, it plays havic with me, i already have Diverticulosis an IBS, In which narrows my food intake down...and now this....which narrows it even more....so when looking up what food is good and not and what is good to drink and not...because i was eating things i did not know were aggravating the cyst, now i know..by Researching on what is going in inside of me, the Cyst, I call Miss.C, not a friendly tenant, but I'm the Manger of my body....and i also have a Higher Authority over me, so.... Miss.C, will be avicted soon.
My Symptoms, Abdomen and Lower back pain,bloating,discharge, sore nipples,pain in legs,pain/ sitting, standing, walkiing, low energy, Found out Making Love, excercise any strenous activity could make the Cyst Burst, Also found out Certain Foods can Aggravate the Cyst....Dairy, Alcohol, Eggs, White bread, juices and more, Also taking Acidophilis also in pill form can help...But only if you know you can take it, I have Researched, these things to help me understand what i need to do and not do, for my health and its on me if i choose to follow any info i have found, so far i have been avoiding certain foods one also is Potatos, dairy...but Yogurt i find for me, is good, fish is good....you will also find out you can go Vegan or the fish and skinless poultry route w/vegies... just look up Diets when having cysts, there are so many ways to look up things, i always write down what i look up so i can go back to the Info I have found. And, i just take Tylenol over the Counter every four to six hours pending on the pain, some people may need a more stronger pain pill pending on your pain level
A complex cyst is the most worrisome kind. It is imperative that you keep a close watch on them and insist that your doctor rule out ovarian cancer.
Yes cysts usually go away on their own and some do not cause any symptoms. Now there are some cysts that get larger, cause pain, irregular cycles, those are the ones your gyno would keep an eye on.
Surgery is sometimes used for problematic cysts, but most are on a "wait & see" approach. Some gyno will use BC pills to get them to go away.
