Ovarian Cyst

I had my left ovary removed due totwo5 cm cysts along with the fallipian tube.My question is doi still need touse birth control?

Yes. I had the same surgery, (left ovary & fallopian tube removed due to large ovarian cyst) and my remaining ovary, I was told at the time, was fully functional, and I could still get pregnant and have a child if I wanted.

If you still have an ovary, it should take over.  You should have periods and would therefore need birth control.  Check with your doctor to be sure about what was removed.
