Ovarian Cysts with Probable Endometriosis

I have recently been diagonsed with "multiple" cysts on my left ovary. My gyn Dr. also suspects endometriosis. I have scheduled a laproscopic surgery later this month that could result in a hysterectomy. I have had a lot of pain in my pelvis (dull ache) as well as constipation, spotting ALL the time, tender breasts and fatigue. I am 35, have 2 children (I am done in that department, thankfully)! I have NEVER had any "female" problems. I have always had regular periods, got pregnant easily and had realtively easy labor/delivery..........so all of this kinda freaks me out. Anyone out there going through something similar or have any insight for me? Thank you!!

Complex. I just realized that I'm asking this in the Ovarian Cancer section. I guess I need to change that. I'm new to this! What's the difference in the 2 type of cysts?

On the ovarian cysts forum, there may be more of us dealing with those kinds of things.  Do the doctors say if the cysts are complex or functional?
